Southwest Cares’ clinical team offers support both to our clinicians and to our partnering facilities.  Dr. Robert Glanz, Director of Clinical Services, heads up the clinical team and is assisted by our valued clinicians:

Carmine Marotta, Director of Operations, heads up Southwest Cares’ administrative team, based in Santa Fe, NM.  The administrative team provides support to both our clinicians and partnering facilities. 

Leslie Morris

Administrative Staff

Leslie Morris has lived in Santa Fe for 15 years, and she simply loves it here.  In her free time she enjoys riding her horses and gardening.  She also collects southern folk art, Spanish folk art, and antiques.  Leslie very much appreciates the opportunity to work in the nurturing environment that is Southwest Cares.

Patricia DuBois, LCSW
Clinical Liaison

Patricia DuBois is a licensed clinical social worker and former registered nurse based in Corrales, NM.  In 1997, she opened an outpatient private practice, where she uses cognitive/behavioral, insight, EMDR, and equine-assisted therapy, among other modalities, when working with adolescents and adults. While maintaining a successful private

practice, DuBois continued to work on developing and implementing programs to help in-need populations in Albuquerque. This includes work coordinating and supervising a grant-funded program that works with drug-addicted mothers and their babies through UNM Selectt, in addition to serving as Clinical Director for Catholic Charities and later at A New Day Youth and Family Services. 

DuBois brings both clinical and program-development experience to Southwest Cares, where she serves a dual role as clinician and Clinical Liaison. In the latter role, DuBois serves both as a support to Southwest Cares clinicians and as a resource to our many partnering facilities in Albuquerque and the surrounding area.

Dr. Celinda Levy, Ph.D., MBA
Psychologist, Las Cruces Regional Director

Dr. Celinda Levy has focused on the geriatric population ever since she completed her dissertation at Boston University.  After completing her MBA, also at Boston University, her career included behavioral health, healthcare management, and quality improvement.  She joined Southwest Cares in 2008 to draw together her

career experiences in clinical and organizational settings, and her current role as Las Cruces Regional Director does just that.

 

Las Cruces is Dr. Levy’s home.  Dr. Levy’s heart is in Las Cruces, and the Las Cruces community has responded to Southwest cares in a heartfelt manner.  In her role as Southwest Cares' Las Cruces Regional Director, Dr. Levy shares her passion for caring in facilities and provides training, and ongoing administrative and clinical support to the team of extremely talented Southwest Cares clinicians in Las Cruces and the surrounding area.  Dr. Levy is a resource to our many partnering facilities and agencies in the area, providing education for staff, working with the community in Las Cruces to for the shared goal of improving the quality of life for residents in nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

Dr. Diane Sarris, Psy.D.
Assistant Director of Clinical Services

Dr. Diane Sarris obtained her doctoral degree in clinical psychology in 1993 while living in Chicago, IL. She did her internship with Indian Health Service in Albuquerque, then returned to Chicago to practice in the private setting. In addition to maintaining a private office, she worked in several nursing homes there, providing services to the elderly.

Dr. Sarris has been a member of the Southwest Cares team since 2005.  Over that time, she played an important role in helping Southwest Cares initiate services in a number of nursing facilities throughout New Mexico. Her many years of experience working with geriatric populations helped her develop strong clinical skills that she now shares with others. As the Assistant Clinical Director of Southwest Cares, she helps provide education for staff, in addition to training, guidance and clinical support for other clinicians entering this challenging work.

Kathleen Gabriel

Administrative Staff

Kathy Gabriel recently moved to New Mexico from Wisconsin to be with her family. She was lucky to have worked for a fabulous pediatrics group there for many years, and she is now happy to work with an equally great group of behavioral health providers! Kathy is enjoying all of her new experiences, both at work and during her leisure time.
