Dr. Jolanta Gurdek, M.D.
Dr. Jolanta Gurdek is a psychiatrist currently based in Albuquerque, NM. She earned her M.D. from Karol Marcinkowski University of Medical Sciences in Poznan, Poland in 1992. She relocated to New York to do her residency at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn. She completed her residency in 2000 and served as Chief Resident in Psychiatry the following year. Dr. Gurdek next worked at the Kingsboro Psychiatric Center as staff psychiatrist and Director of Inpatient Psychiatry. After seven years there, she began working in private practice in New York and with the Department of Veteran Affairs, where she was a staff psychiatrist in the primary care mental health clinic for veterans. In 2009, Dr. Gurdek moved to Albuquerque, NM, where she worked with Kirtland Air Force Base and in private practice. Dr. Gurdek has also continued her work with the VA Health Care System in New Mexico, where she continues to provide psychiatric services to veterans. In 2016, she began working with Southwest Cares, where she works with geriatric and rehabilitating populations in the Albuquerque area.
